On March 19th, Sailun Group participated in the "Tyrexpo Asia 2019" in Singapore with its new brand "ROADX", showing off the capabilities of "made in China" products. As the most professional tire exhibition in all of Southeast Asia, “Tyrexpo Asia 2019” plays an important role in the tire industry. This year the exhibition was the grounds for a pivotal announcement that would change Sailun Group’s future and influence in Asia.
Sailun Group held the “2019 Sailun Group Asia Strategic Conference” during the three days of the exhibition at the Swissotel the Stamford in Singapore on March 20th. Sailun partners and dealers from more than 30 countries, including Singapore, Japan, South Korea, Vietnam, Myanmar, the Philippines and Malaysia, attended this year’s conference.
Chairman Yuan Zhongxue of Sailun Group was the first at the meeting to explain the organization mission, "Make Great Tires”. Mr. Yuan explained during his speech that “the mission to ‘Make Great Tires’ is Sailun’s commitment to users and society. Sailun Group will become a global influential tire company recognized for our autonomous technology, intelligent manufacturing, and international brand by improving internal management processes, strengthening the fundamental research of rubber and tires, and optimizing the allocation of resources.”
GM of the Sailun Group Strategy Center and Sales Center, David Ji, provided a more strategic layout to this mission. His presentation focused on the topic of “Global Marketing Strategy - Applying global marketing resources to support Asia”, covering how Sailun Group is planning to position itself in the Asia market. David explained the focus is to ensure Sailun provides cost-effective products to consumers based on its comprehensive competitive advantages including: product capabilities, manufacturing, services, and cost.
Adding an in-depth glimpse into this year’s Asia strategic planning, Bruce Zhou, Sailun Group VP, Sailun Group Sales Center Vice GM, and head of the new Asia field engineer program, introduced Asia as a key strategic market. His presentation focused on “Penetrating the Market - Field Engineer Project”. This project officially introduces the new in-market engineers designed to support customers with greater technological knowledge and services at the drop of a hat. These engineers will help Sailun Group respond quickly to customer needs, improve market and competitor product understanding, and provide customers with more valuable products and services tailored to market needs. The new format to "Make Great Tires" will start in Asia with plans to further expand into other markets.
Representing the R&D center were Zhang Xiaojun, the Vice GM and TBR Technical Director, and Huang Hanwen, Assistant GM and PCR Technical Director. Both covered current product quality solutions, updates, and the future of the Asian market products.
The new face of Sailun Group has finally shown itself with the emerging market opportunities and challenges. With this new focus Sailun Group will continue to provide dealers with high quality products and services, and cooperate closely with dealers to create a better future for all.
